• Josh Cobia

    Lead Pastor

    Josh and his wife Chelsea moved to Santa Monica four years ago and began praying about what it would mean to be a part of planting a missional church in an area that they cared about deeply. 


    They helped launch Resonate in April of 2015 and in July of 2016, Josh accepted the position of lead pastor at Resonate.


    He has served as a Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, and Community Pastor with a combined 10 years of ministry experience.  


    Josh is an accomplished writer, especially on the subjects of millennials and church refugees. He has contributed to the Huffington Post, Faithit.com, and most notably the Washington Post. You can find his writings on his website, you can also listen to his sermons on iTunes, or Soundcloud.


    He is currently finishing his degree at Gateway Seminary.

  • Bobbie Rich

    Artist-in-Residence

    Bobbie Rich is a full time artist and art educator, continually finding new inspiration on her extensive travels. She was originally drawn to the West Coast to attend the University of Southern California. Over a decade later, Bobbie's art is featured in private collections in Florence, Kuwait City, London, New York, Chicago, Denver and more, as well as, exhibited in many galleries and alternative venues. Bobbie creates in her Santa Monica home studio and teaches in client homes, private schools, business offices, hospitals, nonprofits, restaurants, etc. Bobbie is the Director of Visual Arts for Resonate LA, where she uses art as a platform to connect diverse people in community and service. Bobbie delights in sharing her passion for art with both the public and her numerous pupils.
